Spring Term 1 - Remote Learning

Online learning Monday 4th January - Friday 12th February. School is only open for Key Worker / Vulnerable children during this period.

The school term commences on Monday 4th January as planned, however, children will remain home and participate in online learning for the first half term (Monday 4th January - Friday 12th February). This follows Govermnent guidelines in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, and will be reviewed accordingly.

 

Key Worker / Vulnerable Children

The school will be open ONLY to Key Worker / Vulnerable (KW/V) children during this period. 
Parents of KW/V children have been contacted directly confirming their place in school. 


Arrival: 8:00-9:00amCollection 3:00-3:30pm. The Breakfast/Afterschool Club entrance at the front of school - not the school office. 

Please practice social distancing whilst dropping off / collecting your child/ren. 
All adults, including children aged 11+, are expected to wear masks/visors whilst on school grounds unless medically exempt. 

 

Home Learning

All other children will be expected to return to school virtually, participating in the online learning uploaded by their class teacher. Home learning will be available online ONLY. If you have any difficulties accessing the material, please contact your class teacher directly on Class Dojo. 


Lunches

Monday 4th January - KW/V children will be required to provide their own packed lunch on Monday 4th as we work with our catering company to confirm plans. 

Lunch hampers - will be again be provided to Free School Meal children only (not Universal Infant Free School Meals). The last lunch hampers are to be collectd on Wednesday 20th Jan. 

Food Vouchers - food vouchers will be emailed to all Pupil Premium / Free School Meal / vulnerable children on Monday 25th January. These will be for a 3 week period of £15 per child per week. A reminder that the half term break was provided for in the Winter break vouchers.

In school meals - KW/V children attending school and requiring a school meal will be charged the usual rate of £2.30, unless entitled to FSM.

Food Bank - the food bank is still available for items, please contact the School Office/Mr Else if you require any food/toiletry items so we can arrange these for you. 

 

Staff Contact

Please note that staff will be working from home and/or on rotation and so will not be contactable at school. For any queries, please contact us via email or Class Dojo so we can call you back if needed. 

Illness

If your child is ill and unable to take part in their online learning please inform your class teacher AND Ms Sanders (Attendance Officer) via Class Dojo.

Please only phone the school to report illness if your child is expected in school as a listed KW/V child.
