    Thank-you Rebecca Cooper with @weareforesters who secured a Caring Through Crisis grant that allowed her to purchase some much needed supplies for our Community Food Bank as well as a few boredom buster toys/games for the children still learning from home.

    Year 6 student Lexy has heated up the arts & crafts by making her own jewellery at home. We're very impressed and putting in orders already for when we return!

    2 weeks of amazing home learning from our students, including the essentials of Maths and English as well as lots of fun cooking, arts & crafts with Rainbows and Easter, gardening etc. We're so proud of your efforts and positivity. Stay home & stay safe.

    Our footballers joined @OfficialWands on Saturday for a training session on the pitch. We then stayed to watch the game against Horsham. The children had a great time learning new skills and enjoying the atmosphere. A huge thank-you to the team for their hospitality!

    Ho Ho Ho! Our Christmas Fair was a great success & start to SMC festivities! Thank you to our community for your raffle donations & our wonderful PTA for tracking them down. Our elves are counting all of your chocolate coins to see how much money we've this space!

    Congratulations to the SMC boy's football team who played against St Philomenas yesterday and won 3:2! The game was played in good spirits and we look forward to playing again.

    SMCPA are now kitted with a Defibrillator! We have taken part in lots of fun fundraising activities to raise money for a school defibrillator. A huge thank-you to our students, staff and parent helpers, Olive Dining and Carly's Heart Trust for your support in this endeavour.

    Year 2 had a visit from an Egyptologist this term where they got to look artefacts from the past and learn more about Ancient Egypt. We even found out some gruesome details about mummification!

    Teddy Bear Picnic

    Reception - Onyx to come in with their parents for a Teddy Bear Picnic. A chance to meet your new friends (children and adults) as well as the school team.


    Please bring your teddy bear, a blanket and a snack.

Nut Free Food Products

We would like to remind parents that we are a nut free school and that no food items should be brought onto school premises - this includes sandwiches and chocolate bars in packed lunches. Thank-you for your cooperation.

Water Only in Bottles

Students should only be drinking water in class - they are not allowed flavoured water or juices as their main drink in the classroom. These drinks are allowed as part of their packed lunch only.

No Dogs Allowed on Site

As per school policy, no dogs (unless guide-dogs) are allowed on school premises.

Pay via ParentPay

All payments should be made in advance on ParentPay either online or through the app. This includes: Dinner Money, Breakfast Club, Tik Tok Afterschool Club, and Trips.
