Pearl and Opal Class Homework

At St Mary Cray Primary Academy, we feel it is important for children to be set fun and engaging homework activities. These give them opportunities to practice and consolidate the learning that has taken place across a range of subjects.

Home Learning is set each Friday and children are given an overview of tasks to complete over the half term. These tasks will be based around our topic of learning and will be relevant to what children are learning in school. These task sheets will be printed out and put inside your child's pink Homework Book. You might find it useful to put the homework on your fridge or somewhere in your home to refer to!

We will also post a copy on this webpage (see below). We ask that all Home Learning books are returned by the following Thursday so that we can mark them before sending books out again on Friday.  You can complete homework straight into the Homework Books, stick in work, pictures ofr photos, or take photos and upload them to Class Dojo or Tapestry. If you have any concerns or queries please do not hesitate to ask us.

We ask you to read with your child daily and record this in their Home Reading Record book. We will change reading books every day wth children that have their Reading Record signed.

Thank you for your continued support.
