Science Week 2020

Science Week this year focused on inspirational women in STEM. Four women with jobs in different areas of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) visited us to tell us about their lines of work. We tried to guess their jobs in a whole school assembly game show, before they came to talk to our classes individually. We were visited by a Tunnel Engineer, Psychologist, Mental Health Nurse and Surgery Nurse. 

Throughout the week each year group studied a famous female scientist and engaged in an investigation based on the scientist's discoveries. We had a school assembly at the end of the week to share all of our learning from throughout the week.
