Help us help you have a "Covid-Free" Christmas

As we all head home for Christmas, please ensure you update the school immediately with any positive cases so we can contact families who will then need to isolate to prevent the spread as we mix households over Christmas period.

Important information about positive cases in the holidays:

  • Where a pupil or staff member tests positive for coronavirus (COVID-19), having developed symptoms more than 48 hours since being in school (after 3.30pm on Saturday 19th December) , the school should not be contacted. Parents and carers should follow contact tracing instructions provided by NHS Test and Trace.
  • If a pupil or staff member tests positive for coronavirus up to and including the 23rd December, having developed symptoms within 48 hours of being in school (before 3.30pm on Saturday 19th December), please notify the school by emailing contact@springpartnership.co.uk as the individual may have been infectious whilst in school.  This email address will be checked at 12:00pm each day until the 23rd December.
  • School staff will not be checking any pupil contact tracing emails beyond Wednesday 23 December.

Where pupils are required to self-isolate due to contact with a positive case after the 23rd December, schools do not need to be informed about their absence until the first day of the new term.

Between 23rd - 27th December, the 3 tier system is relaxed allowing 3 households to join together for Christmas. The 3 households are exclusive to each other for this 5 day period, this means that families A, B & C can mix together, but A cannot then mix with family D or E on another day.
